Navigation Hints

Scrolling

Scroll bars are located on the right side or bottom of the screen, or both. These help you see the information not currently present on your screen by moving screen contents up and down (vertical scroll bar) or back and forth (horizontal scroll bar).

Scroll bars also appear on the sub-sections of the screen created by frames. Frames allow you to move individual sections of the screen vertically or horizontally.

Going to other pages Underlined words and phrases take you to another place in the same screen or sometimes will jump to a different screen. To come back to where you started, use the Back button as described below.
Buttons, icons, or underlined text Clicking on these usually takes you to another screen, but can have any destination the web designer wants

Getting around a site

Sites are built with a Home Page linked to secondary pages. You can move among the pages by using the available navigation aids such as the options at the left of this screen, or internal buttons, underlined text, etc.

To return to a previous page, click the Back button at the top left of each screen, or use one of the options.
